Report Family

Focused research lanes for different market styles, timing windows, and review goals.

Tide Trader organizes its research into separate report branches so members can review the lane that fits the setup and the holding period they care about instead of pushing every market into the same model.

Tide, Wave, and Raft are especially important on the equities side because they help traders move from Beach Forecast sector trends into the tickers worth studying across overnight, same-session, and calmer multi-day long-hold review lanes.

Covered Lanes

  • Overnight continuation and intraday flow
  • Leadership-only review and calmer stock lanes
  • Options, crypto, and hard-asset structure
  • Sector context and shared search tools
  • Steadier long-term quality and dividend lanes

Equity Lanes

Overnight, intraday, leadership, and calmer stock review

Overnight Trades

Tide

Built around next-day continuation-style setups for members who want to review overnight trade structure with cleaner context. Tide Market Check refreshes every 15 minutes during market hours for fresher entry context while preserving its overnight-or-longer planning identity.

Intraday Trades

Wave

Focused on same-session opportunity flow and shorter timing windows for traders who want a more active intraday review lane. Wave Market Update refreshes every 10 minutes during market hours as the fastest intraday equity report lane.

Leadership Focus

Horizon

Horizon is the big-board leadership branch, designed to narrow attention toward cleaner Nasdaq 100, S&P 500, and Dow leadership instead of the full equity universe.

Calmer Entry Tier

Raft

Built for members who want a simpler, lower-touch stock workflow centered primarily on more selective multi-day long holds and less screen-time pressure.

Scheduled Freshness Architecture

Scheduled market-hours snapshots for decision-support context

Wave Fast Lane

Wave Market Update is the highest-frequency intraday equity lane, with scheduled market-hours report refreshes every 10 minutes from 8:00 AM CT through 2:50 PM CT on US market trading days, excluding US market holidays.

Tide Fast Lane

Tide Market Check refreshes every 15 minutes from 8:00 AM CT through 2:45 PM CT on US market trading days, excluding US market holidays. Tide still preserves its overnight-or-longer planning identity, and off-hour Tide context checks remain separate.

Scheduled Context Layers

Off-hour Tide context checks, Trident crypto snapshots, Market Tone, Beach Forecast, Storm Watch / Warning, scorecards, and slower report branches remain scheduled context layers rather than continuous alert-style instructions.

Snapshot-Based Review

Tide Trader reports are snapshot-based decision-support tools. They help active traders narrow focus, evaluate potential setups, and review entry and exit levels in context, but they are not live signal services, automated trading advice, or instructions to buy or sell. Members still review live charts before acting.

Specialty And Long-Term Lanes

Options, crypto, hard assets, and steadier research tracks

Options Directional Core

Surf

The live options core built for users who want cleaner same-session directional structure and underlying-based trade framing across option-ready stocks and ETFs.

Covered-Call Companion

Board

Surf Board is the covered-call companion for users who already own shares and want a structured weekly strike-planning view instead of guessing where to write.

Secured-Put Companion

Leash

Surf Leash is the secured-put companion for users who want to get paid while waiting for a cleaner stock entry at a more controlled level.

Premium-Movement Companion

Freestyle

Surf Freestyle is the buy-call and buy-put companion for traders focused on options price movement rather than owning or managing the shares.

Crypto Branch

Trident

Trident is the crypto-focused branch of The Tide Trader. As an advanced crypto context branch, it keeps a 2:00 AM CT Asia Transition anchor, then refreshes every 30 minutes from 6:30 AM CT through 10:00 PM CT on a daily Sunday-through-Saturday cadence while calibration monitoring continues.

Hard-Asset Branch

Forge

Forge is the hard-asset / precious-metals branch. As a specialty hard-asset branch under calibration monitoring, it refreshes hourly from 7:30 AM CT through 2:30 PM CT, with a Closing Metals checkpoint at 3:00 PM CT, Monday-Friday excluding US market holidays.

Long-Term Quality Lane

Harbor

A steadier weekly lane for blue-chip and consistent-growth names for members who want a calmer long-term review track.

Dividend-Focused Lane

Steady Flow

A calmer weekly dividend-oriented lane built around payout consistency, yield, and longer-term durability.

Archived Example

Browse expired equities samples with real top-pick layouts

If you want a concrete example instead of abstract descriptions, these archived equities pages show older Tide, Wave, Horizon, and Raft snapshots that are already past their setup windows.

Each one shows the archived report layout the way visitors can actually review it: report counts, header context, fast-review setup cards, entry references, Conservative / Moderate / Stretch exit references, Stop Ref, ATR context, and a sortable archived scan table from an expired report.

Shared Tools

Support layers that work across the report family

Market Tone

Plain-English posture context to help members decide how selective or aggressive the tape deserves.

Storm Watch / Warning

A market-weather risk layer for sectors or broad setup conditions that may be showing deterioration, profit-taking risk, trend-change risk, or hostile long-side conditions.

Beach Forecast

A free public sector-conditions read that updates five times each weekday and highlights where long, short, or choppy setups may show up first.

The Sandbox

A premium sector drilldown tool that connects Beach Forecast sector context to current setup-table names from the existing Tide Trader report family, organized by sector.

Lighthouse Search

Lighthouse Search helps members look up a ticker across the latest Tide Trader report family to see where it currently appears and what report context is available, including entry references, exit references, Stop Ref, ATR, and branch context when those fields are present.

Crest Exit Tool

Crest Exit Tool helps members map structured Conservative, Moderate, and Stretch exit references from an actual entry price. It supports review context, but does not replace chart review or personal risk decisions.

Scout

A free member tool that gives a faster cross-platform scan of made-the-cut names so members can see what is surfacing without opening every branch first.

Swell

Swell is a high-risk extended-trend context tool. It helps members see names that may be stretched after multi-session one-direction movement, so conservative users can treat them as avoid-list candidates while aggressive users can watch for live-chart confirmation.

Swell does not provide exit guidance and should not be read as a trade signal.

BackTesting Scorecard

A transparency layer that helps members review historical forecast behavior for branches and watches over time. Backtesting reviews how often historical setups moved in the expected direction and how often they reached Conservative, Moderate, and Stretch exit levels.

Conservative is the first target, Moderate is the middle target, and Stretch is the more ambitious target. These are target-path and target-conversion metrics, not account returns, user results, or promises of future trading outcomes.

Win-rate percentages are ratios: 75% means about 3 out of 4 setups, 80% means 4 out of 5, 66.7% means about 2 out of 3, 50% means 1 out of 2, 33.3% means about 1 out of 3, and 25% means 1 out of 4.

Scorecard review is paired with visible report status labels and scorecard evidence so members can see branch maturity without guessing.
